Let’s design and test some games! This episode Clark talks to Randy Ekl. Randy and his wife Maxine are the co-designers behind Clever Playing Cards and they are the organizers of the annual Chicago Protospiel gathering for board game designers and playtesters. Randy is also a co-organizer of the Chicagoland Boardgame Designers and Playtesters group meetup in Schaumburg. Randy shares what it’s like to participate in a playtesting session, why you don’t have to be a designer to come to a game testing night or weekend, and why you really should give Matthias Cramer’s game Lancaster a try!
